2 into 1 is a contemporary video art piece in which the artist swapped voices with George Reynolds - a man who suffers from Foreign Accent Syndrome. The work is an adaptation of artist Gillian Wearing's work of the same name. I did the audio recording, and all video post-production tasks including the pain-staking lip-synced edit in which the voice of George was fit to the video of Caitlin.

6 Video clips of squirrels playing musical instruments were triggered by bright wooden instruments in the gallery. Each instrument created MIDI data which triggered a corresponding video clip of a squirrel playing the same instrument with it's appropriate sound. The 'band' in the gallery space were therefore joined by an virtual animal double.

A Flash animation was commissioned by Capsule in collaboration with Flatpack Festival to animate a series of Illustrator and Photoshop graphics by Birmingham illustration collective The Outcrowd.

Ben Neal is an Arts-focused Creative Technologist and has worked freelance for over 20 years as Psicon Lab (pronounced "Sy-Kon Lab"). He collaborates with creative people who want to use technology, and brings their ideas to life.
He also co-runs Displace Studio an immersive Mixed Reality performance studio with co-lead Kerryn Wise. Their best known project is a VR experience called Facades which has toured internationally.
