2 into 1 is a contemporary video art piece in which the artist swapped voices with George Reynolds - a man who suffers from Foreign Accent Syndrome. The work is an adaptation of artist Gillian Wearing's work of the same name. I did the audio recording, and all video post-production tasks including the pain-staking lip-synced edit in which the voice of George was fit to the video of Caitlin.
Shown at The Vaults, Birmingham; Worcester Art Gallery and Museum (Worcester Open Prize Winner); Orlean House Gallery, Twickenham and New Greenham Arts, Berkshire. Camera by director Martin Gooch.
6 Video clips of squirrels playing musical instruments were triggered by bright wooden instruments in the gallery. Each instrument created MIDI data which triggered a corresponding video clip of a squirrel playing the same instrument with it's appropriate sound. The 'band' in the gallery space were therefore joined by an virtual animal double.
Shown at the Marksman Gallery, Reading and Quad, Derby.
